Abstract In an economy facing multiple crises (economic, pandemic, energy crisis, political and security crises) becomes necessary to determine the implications of fiscal changes on economy’s evolution. This paper aimed assess link between taxation economic growth in European Union Member States, considering panel data for period 2000-2021 identify taxation’s specific growth. The methodological endeavour encompassed both qualitative quantitative research approaches. analysis study involved a bibliometric existing literature visual mapping bibliographic employed highlight differences values variables recorded EU countries. methodology assumed empirical through regression with fixed random effects reaction rate gross domestic product direct indirect taxes. Our results indicate relationship growth, depending tax type. We have identified case taxes income or profits corporations, including holding gains value-added individual household other production. addition, impact is more significant.
